Hello Vast Internet! I am Raccoon Foo and welcome to my (actively being edited) page!

I started off on Bookstagram in 2019 after getting my degree in English and emphasis in Creative Writing. Yeah, I started this blog page around the same time. I had a lot of ideas as Raccoon Foo, about exploring the Greater Los Angeles area for bookstores, libraries, and other places that felt cozy and fun. When the pandemic struck, I wasn’t sure about a lot of things. A lot of my Foo Updates stayed on Instagram and the ideas I had for this page were stored into the closet.

One thing that hasn’t changed is that I’d love to explore Los Angeles, enjoy as many books as I can, and grow as a writer. I used to write a lot of fantasy and poetry, but right now my writing and I are getting reacquainted. I hope to make my larger work a little home here, though!

I really don’t know what I have in store. There’s a lot I’d like to do and a lot I’m scared about, but this life of mine is ephemeral. One day I’ll be forgotten. Fade into the background. So, here’s to shining at this moment?

Hope you like what I’ve got to share.

Love,

Raccoon Foo
